I never understood the reason for email campaigns but this makes all the sense in the world!

I saw that mailchimp is free for the frst 2000 subscribers, are they any good or should i just go with aweber?

I had a look a Mailchimp before but the thing that makes Aweber better (for me anyway) is the fact that you are able to create webforms very quickly.
(not to mention integrating with facebook etc.)
With Mailchimp there is a lot of manual tweaks and stuff that you need to make before you can get the form the way you want.
The 2000 free subscriber option does seem to be a good selling technique though…
